A File Group is a collection of one or more files that you upload together. You can share the entire File Group using a link, QR code, or email.

You choose the expiry time when uploading. Available options are 1 hour, 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week (Premium), and 1 month (Premium).

Yes. You can generate an access code when uploading your File Group. Anyone opening the shared link must enter the code unless the File Group was shared directly through SnapFile.

The maximum supported file size is 3.5 GB per file.

Yes. You can send a File Group directly by email. SnapFile users receiving the File Group by email do not need to enter the access code.

Yes. Every File Group can generate a QR code that another person can scan to access the shared files.

When a File Group expires, it and all files it contains are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Open the Subscription page in SnapFile and tap Cancel Subscription. You will be redirected to the store where the subscription was purchased.

Open the Receive page to see File Groups shared with you. Tap a File Group to view its details and download the files.

When you share a File Group by email through SnapFile, the recipient can access the File Group directly from the Receive page if they use the same email address for their SnapFile account. File Groups shared this way do not require an access code.

Yes. Open the File Group details and remove an email address from the access list. The File Group will then be removed from that recipient's Receive page.

Sharing by email through SnapFile adds the recipient's email address to the File Group's access list. If the recipient uses the same email address for their SnapFile account, the File Group will automatically appear on their Receive page. If the File Group is protected with an access code, recipients who receive it through SnapFile by email do not need to enter the access code. Anyone with a shared link can still access the File Group. If no access code is enabled, the link alone is enough to download the files.
